This is our story!

Studio Ninja is created by Melbournians Chris Garbacz, an accomplished wedding photographer and owner of Epic Photography, and Yuan Wang, a multi-award-winning designer, user experience specialist and founder of Yump digital agency.

After 10 years in the industry and juggling an average of 60 weddings per year, Chris was in desperate need of a solution that could help him organise his business. He tried all the management and CRM software on the market but none of them were right. They were either too basic or too complicated. Most were poorly designed, overwhelming or simply not enjoyable to use.

Meanwhile, Yuan has spent his entire career creating user-centred websites and applications for some of Australia’s most well-known brands, including Estee Lauder Companies, Lend Lease and the BMW Group. In mid-2015, Chris approached Yuan with an idea that could shake up the photography CRM software industry, and as the saying goes, the rest is history.

Combining Chris’s innate understanding of a photographer’s business problems with Yuan’s vast experience in user-centred design methodologies, they set out together with the mission to develop the world’s most user-friendly business management software for photographers, that would help them save time, get more organised and turn their passion in photography into higher profits.
